Baqa-Jat Neighbors' Path is a community tour that deals with water, environment and co-existence. During the course of this community-led tour, visitors will see select stations throughout the city that highlight unique green initiatives and cultural heritage sites. Visitors will learn about the environmental challenges faced by the community and will hear the story of environment and peace building cooperation between Baqa-Jat and its Palestinian neighbor community, Baqa Al Sharkiya.

This trail is one of 17 paths or trails taking place in Israeli, Jordanian and Palestinian communities that share a common water source. The routes were planned during 2007 in the framework of the “Good Water Neighbors” project in cooperation with community .representatives as well as the municipalities.

Guided tours on the Neighbors Trails take
